LATTE ARTE

Going out to get a coffee is one of my best simple pleasures. It gets me out of the house, among the people, and it makes me feel like a real writer sitting there with my laptop and my latte. I greatly appreciate the skill that goes into the art that baristas practice and give away freely. I always check and am always impressed when someone creates latte art in a to-go cup before covering it with a lid. I've had my at home machine for over a year now and have yet to make anything real. Someday.
